CPP Advisors Changes Name to Apeiron Partners LLC and Announces Several New Strategic Initiatives

Commensurate with the publication of its first book, “Innovation that Fits : Moving Beyond the Fads to Choose the RIGHT Innovation Strategy for Your Business” (Pearson Education/Prentice Hall), its speaking engagement at BIO2005 on Wednesday, June 22, at 2:15 P.M., and a number of new strategic initiatives, CPP Advisors LLC has changed its name – and its corporate brand – to Apeiron Partners LLC.

Apeiron Partners LLC is a boutique investment bank focused exclusively on the life sciences. Our new name - "Aperion" (pronounced "ahh-per-on") is derived from the Greek word for infinity - ἄπειρον - which is comprised of a - without, and peiras - limit, boundary. As the name implies, it goes to the heart of our client mission: to create or enable unlimited opportunity for value creation, through the creative structuring of financial and strategic transactions in the life sciences.

In doing so, we conserve and focus parent resources and maximize the value of the assets involved.
• Early-Stage Investment Advisory Services: With our relationship with Z-Cube s.r.l. (the corporate venture capital arm of Zambon Group of Milan, Italy) now moving into its third year, and a growing portfolio of companies in which we have advised Z-Cube in the formation and structuring of, we are keen to expand our activities in this area.
• Mergers and Acquisitions: particularly between the U.S. and Europe, where market disparities of various kinds are creating exciting opportunities for value creation.
• Strategic Alliances: especially where a high degree of R & D, corporate and financial strategy integration are needed.
