Apeiron Partners Appoints Additional Managing Director

Apeiron Partners LLC announced today that Gustav A. Christensen has joined Apeiron as a Managing Director. Apeiron Partners is a Boston-based boutique investment bank focused exclusively on the life sciences.

Gustav Christensen is a serial life science entrepreneur and senior manager who brings over 25 years of experience in biopharma to Apeiron Partners. Previously he held CEO or senior management positions or Board memberships at Phylos, Primedica, Alpha-Beta Technology, Diatide, Phytera, Insmed, Immulogic Pharmaceutical, The Genetics Institute, and Baxter. He has been involved in raising over $250m in public and private equity for biopharma firms, and has negotiated over a dozen pharmaceutical deals in the US, Europe, and Japan. In addition, he has been an early investor in several other successful life-science companies, and serves on the boards of several private companies and non-profit organizations.

Mr. Christensen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Masters Degree in economics from University of Aarhus, Denmark.
