Apeiron Seeking Dermatology Product Acquisitions for Drug Development Company

Apeiron is pleased to announce that it has been retained by the Board of Elagen, Inc., a Framingham, Massachusetts-based drug development company, to help design and implement one or more strategic transactions on behalf of Elagen. Elagen is seeking to augment its pipeline with additional complementary dermatological products with a particular focus on anti-virals and we would like to hear from you if you believe that you have a product of interest.

Elagen, Inc. is committed to being the leading company in developing and commercializing small-molecule anti-HPV therapeutics for the treatment of cervical dysplasia, anogenital warts and other indications. There is a significant unmet medical need in the area of HPV associated disease.

The current Elagen portfolio is based upon UMASS and Tufts New England Medical Center patents, and the Company has received investment to date from Z-Cube s.r.l. (the venture capital arm of the Zambon Group, a multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Milan, Italy with annual revenues of €500 million) and the Charitable Leadership Foundation (CLF), a private foundation with a significant focus on healthcare.
